CU study shows frogs with defects hit by parasites

A New Zealand scientist has offered a schoolboy $100 for his six-legged frog.  Brett Wilson, a seven year old boy from New Zealand, found a green tree frog with six legs on a friend's farm.
Biologist, Dr. Nick Ling, with the Waikato University wants to buy the frog for $100 to determine why it has an extra pair of legs. Dr. Ling believes the frog's deformities could be the result of pollution, or a glitch in nature. Dr. Ling also says that "The chemically-induced deformities almost always involve hind limbs"
